Tony for Kids

Tony for Kids was established in 2007 with the goal of promoting arts education in the New York City public schools.

The following organizations have been selected to receive $20,000 in grants over a two year period beginning July 2007.

Midori and Friends – providing music education classes and programs to underserved public school children throughout New York City.

National Dance Institute – providing in-school and after-school instruction in all forms of dance to children in public schools all over the country.

MOMA – providing museum access to over 40,000 NYC public school students though the School Visit Program.

TheatreWorks USA – distributing thousands of free tickets to economically disadvantaged communities as well as providing on-site teaching experiences to children through the Early Stages Plus! program.

52nd Street Project – offering after-school and summer programs that bring Hell's Kitchen neighborhood kids (aged 9-18) in collaboration with theatre professionals to create original performances.

Currently, we do not accept applications for education grants.

Thank you to all the organizations who continue to nurture children in the arts!
